The 1960's was a time that was very different from the other deacades. Girls dropped all the formal clothes, which they had been doing throught out the decades. But the in the 60's, prints and denim became very popular. Big shoes and pill box hats were what everyone was wearing. Men and women shared the same jeans and 3/4 sleeves. The early 60's girls were dull, and plain but towards the end, gogo boots, mini skirts, and "hippie look" took over. You'd see most men wear suits if they were adults, and flower button up shirts.

For men the slicked back parted hair was very popular. For women you couldn't go out of the house without a beehive, the pixie, or the flip. Most men had the mop hair style. Their hair styles were very different from the "flapper" style of the 1920's. Now very big, full hair was in.
